ULiège student: what should I do if I get a positive result from a ULiège saliva test?
If you have had a positive result from a ULiège Covid-19 salivary test (as part of the screening or SARSSURV study), you must follow the following procedure since January 10, 2022:
1- Immediately go into isolation and follow the recommendations for people who have received a positive result from a Covid-19 test performed by a health professional.
2- In order to obtain a quarantine certificate, the result of your self-test must be confirmed as soon as possible by a PCR test performed in a testing centre. To do this, ask for an activation code by phone (02 214 19 19) or, if you have symptoms, obtain this activation code via the online self-assessment form (free test).
Remain in isolation while waiting for the result of the confirmatory PCR test.
- If the result of this test is negative, your isolation is lifted. Monitor for symptoms and continue to follow barrier measures.
- If the result of this test is positive, follow the procedure for people who have received a positive result from a Covid-19 test performed by a health professional.
3- Follow the procedure to report your quarantine and justify your absence from teaching activities at ULiège.
